Lacy Paper star ornament

So, there was an ornament challenge over at Tallyscrapper that I thought I'd give a try.
I was looking for the pattern of an ornament my neighbor Shelly made last year when I stumbled on this
I used double sided pattern paper thinking it would look neat. I used an exacto knife to cut out the paper using the template. It wasn't complicated to do just alittle tedious to make 6 of them. And my tip: use a VERY strong adhesive for this. Especially in the center where they all join.
For the challenge we had to add glitter & "bling" so I added a few jewels and some clear glitter.
As for the glitter I used my own Shimmer Mist and here's the directions so you can make your own too:

Using 1 small spray bottle add 1/4 teaspoon of Pearl Ex mica powder (I chose silver) to the bottle and then fill with rubbing alcohol shake & spray
I know it smells but the alcohol dries so fast & the powder needs something to cling to when it gets sprayed. Super easy & adds a nice glimmer to any paper project.
Project supplies: Basic Grey paper, Heidi Swapp Jewels, Pearl Ex powder, Glue Dots, & Stampin Up silver cord & Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
